Walk-ins are always welcome. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Not painting today? You're welcome to stop by for a coffee, or a glass of wine if we have space.

About Us
The Kiln House - a pottery painting studio and bar in the heart of Ambleside, the Lake District.
Pick a piece, grab a drink, and spend some time painting - no experience needed. We’ll glaze and fire it for you, so you can pick it up later or have your item delivered.
We serve wine, coffee and a small selection of delicious drinks and snacks - so you can get settled in, take your time and enjoy the process.
We’re here for locals, visitors, rainy afternoons, and slower evenings.
Whether you’re dropping in after a walk, meeting friends, or just looking for something different to do in Ambleside, it’s a beautiful space to sit down and get creative.
